I'm Molly, a font-obsessed young professional with a passion for all things design. Ever since my days on the high school yearbook staff, I knew a career in graphic design was my calling. I have 10+ years of experience working as an in-house designer within marketing teams. I enjoy the challenges of working on a marketing team, and love that there is always something new to learn or do.
My full-time and internship experience spans multiple industries including hospitality, construction, advertising, nonprofit association, and print publication, which makes me a versatile addition to any team.
When I'm not glued to a computer screen doing some form of design work, you can find me playing volleyball, out on the golf course, watching a Washington Capitals game, or playing with my dog, Dunkin.
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
After graduating from Lynchburg College in Virginia, I started my career with the National Recreation and Park Association, a nonprofit membership association for local and state park agencies. I was able to have complete creative control over the brand identity and design of all printed and digital collateral.
After leaving NRPA, I worked as a graphic designer for HITT Contracting on the marketing and communications team for 3+ years. There I worked with other designers, marketing associates, and construction professionals to create strategic proposals and digital presentations for external uses, in addition to a variety of other print materials and branding projects. After departing HITT, I served as the sole graphic designer at Clyde's Restaurant Group in Washington, DC providing design support and creative direction for 12 restaurants and a live music venue in DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. This role combined my love for restaurants as well as live music, while aligning with my previous in-house marketing team experience.
Most recently, I joined the Brand & Research team at CARFAX, where I focus on design and branding for internal communications for the nearly 1,400 team members across the U.S. and Canada.
